Jump Start Your Writing

Have you ever been writing and for no reason at all you lose the spark? Have you been trying to write the world’s greatest novel, but you don’t know where to start?

We’ve all been there, right.

Some years back, getting started was my problem. I would write half a sentence and used the backspace button immediately. Super annoying, I know.

So, I came up with this idea. I figured if I just wrote a bunch of random sentences maybe one of them would jump-start my creative flow.

It seemed like a pretty awesome idea at the time. And what other way to distract yourself from writing than by writing.

I wrote. And wrote. And wrote some more. Nothing happened. No spark for a new story. Which totally sucked.

However, I realized I had come up with a grocery list of sentences. Just made up off the top of my head. And it got me thinking…..

What if these can help someone else get the spark.

This thought was what drove me to publish that list. Who doesn’t need a few good writing prompts now and then.

You’re free to check ’em out, just click here.

We’re coming up with some genre specific sentence prompts. If you would like exclusive access to the list, please leave your name and email below and specify what genre you’re interested in.
